A tool to honor the body and life transitions.
Handcrafted from solid, untreated 100% natural wood, this closing stick is a precious companion for the Rebozo ritual, whether practiced alone, with a partner, or as part of a guided ceremony.
Used to create the tension needed to close the pelvis with a Rebozo shawl, it supports this ancestral gesture passed down from woman to woman across cultures and generations.
The closing ritual can be practiced:
- After childbirth, to gently close the pelvis
- During a life transition or rite of passage, to mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of another
- To relieve physical tension (in the lower back or pelvis), and to support blood and lymphatic circulation
- To offer a moment of recentring and reconnection with oneself, in a safe and nurturing embrace
This stick can also be used in the traditional 4-handed Rebozo closing ritual, as a complement to other body closures.
How to use:
Wrap a Rebozo shawl around the pelvis, then use the stick to roll up the ends and adjust the tension as needed.
Slowness, presence, and gentleness are the keys to offering – or receiving – this grounding ritual.
