Preparation tips from Nancy Riamon, a dietician-nutritionist trained at the Ecole des Plantes Médicinales (School of Medicinal Plants).
In order to take full advantage of the benefits of our infusions, we recommend the following ritual:
- Scoop 1 tablespoon of herbs (the equivalent of 3 grams) into a pot.
- Pour 200-250 ml (about 1 cup) of cold water over the herbs
- Bring to a boil
- As soon as bubbles start to form, turn off the heat and cover.
- Allow the infusion to steep for 10 minutes
- Strain and pour into a cup or mug
- Take a few minutes to close your eyes and inhale the aroma of your infusion, while breathing slowly and deeply.
- Drink your tea slowly as you visualize the healing properties of the plants flowing through your body to where you need them most.
- Take advantage of this moment to relax and connect with your inner harmony.
If you are in a hurry, you can prepare your tea by pouring boiling water over the herbs and allowing the infusion to steep for 10 minutes.
